A federal judge in Texas has ruled DACA unlawful. Fortunately, this will not affect current DACA holders, even if your DACA has expired. Current DACA holders can continue to renew and enjoy the benefits of the program. However, the judge will not allow the government to grant DACA to people who are applying for the first time.

If you recently filed a DACA application for the first time and have questions, contact your case manager or our main number by calling or texting (512) 633-1785.

If you want to know more about what is happening with DACA and what to expect, watch this video our attorney Jose “Chito” Vela created to explain how this may impact DACA beneficiaries.
